Ancient Coinage of Messenia, Kyparissia



Situated 38 km north of Pylos, on the Gulf of Kyparissia, a bay of the Ionian Sea. Recently the remains of the ancient town were discovered on a site planned for a water park, and the site is currently being excavated.
