Christ, nimbate, standing facing, [I]C & XC to left & right, A in right field / Theodore standing facing on left, St. Demetrius standing facing on right, together holding patriarchal cross on globe between them, with their other hands the emperor holds a cross-tipped scepter, the saint a spear; in five lines across field the emperor~Rs name in Greek letters, ~STheodore Lascaris, despot,~T partially legible.
