            TRAJAN. 98-117 AD. Æ Sestertius (27.28 gm). Struck 
            113 AD. Laureate and draped bust right / DACIA 
            AVGVST, PROVINCIA/SC in exergue, Dacia seated left 
            on rock, holding aquila, small child on knee 
            holding grain ears, small child seated before on 
            rock holding grapes. RIC II 621 var. (drapery on 
            left shoulder only); BMCRE 960 var. (same); Cohen 
            125 var. (same); Banti, I Grandi Bronzi, 55 (only 
            one specimen cited). Good VF, attractive olive 
            green patina, a few light scratches on the 
            reverse. ($1000)
