Sabina wife of Hadrian, died 137 CE, AR denarius, 18-19mm.

Obverse : SABINA AUGUSTA HADRIANI AUG. P.P. - draped bust
right, hair coiled about top of head and behind double
tiara. Reverse : (No legend as struck) - Vesta std. left
holding palladium and scepter, star in ex. Grade VF/gF.
Light toning, everthing clear, expressive portrait with
great detail. Unlisted in RSC, unlisted in RIC with a star
in exergue. Ref. RIC 413 scarce (variety)
