on head, naked except for chlamys over left shoulder, holding patera and cornucopiae.

An extremely rare, unpublished coin with altar in left field.
 Several of the similar types from this series, struck for
 Diocletian and Galerius are described in the Seltz hoad 
reports as having an altar in the left field, but none for
 Maximian.
