Woodward, in "Coinage of Didius Julianus," NC 1961, pp. 76-77, found three obverse and five reverse dies for aurei of Scantilla, and cites this very coin, which he knew from the 1960 Hess-Leu sale, as proof of the combination Obverse die 3/Reverse die E.
