Lucius Verus AE24 of Flaviopolis, Cilicia. Dated AD 166-167. 10.04 g. L AHRH.. CEB, laureate head right, slight drapery on left shoulder. FLAYIOPOLEITWN around, ETOYS QD in right field, Tyche standing left, holding rudder and cornucopiae. SNG Pfalz 6. With permission of Pecunem, Gitbud & Naumann, auction 26, lot 358, Dec 2014. Attribution corrected: sold as an unpublished coin of Pompeiopolis, Paphlagonia. Coins from that town have PAFLA and the city name of POMPHIOPOLITWN. On this coin there is only FLA- and a visible IOPOLEITWN from top right. This ensures the attribution to Flaviopolis. In addition, coins from Pompeiopolis, Paphlagonia were never dated, whereas this coin has a date in the right field.
