      struck during the reign of Gordian III. 8.41g. Laureate, draped
     and cuirassed bust of Gordian III rt., star before. / Draped bust
      of Abgar rt., bearded, wearing a diadedemed tiara, star behind.
     BMC 158. Choice VF and extremely handsome for this normally crude
      type. A tad bit double-struck. Abgar X was raised to throne when
Gordian III recovered Mesopotamia from the Persians.
