       (4.78 gm). Rome, AD 239. IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG, 
       laureate, draped, cuirassed bust right / ROMAE AETERNAE, 
       Roma seated left on shield, holding Victory and sceptre. 
       Calicó 3230a = Gorny & Mosch 112, 17 October 2001, lot 
       4372 (same obverse die). Not in RIC or Cohen. Good 
       extremely fine 

       The same obverse die was also used for the type 
       LIBERALITAS AVG II (see Gorny & Mosch 113, 18 October 
       2001, lot 5970).
