sestertius (23.25 gm). Rome. IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS 
AFR AVG, laureate, draped, cuirassed bust right / 
PROVIDENTIA AVGG S C, Providentia standing left, legs 
crossed, leaning on column, holding wand over globe at 
feet and cornucopia. BMCRE 5. Cohen 6 (70 Fr.). RIC 9. 
Rare. Green patina. Good very fine with some surface 
erosion on portrait
