holding spear and shield, decorated with horseman spearing
fallen enemy.
GLORIA REIPVBLICAE, Roma, holding spear, seated facing and 
Constantinopolis, holding sceptre and with foot on prow, seated 
left, side by side, holding between them a shield inscribed VOT 
XXX MVLTIS XXXX.
