Constantine II. AE. London. 321-322 AD. CONSTANTI-NVS IVN NC, helmeted, cuirassed bust left. BEATA TRAN-QVILLITAS, large globe on an altar inscribed VOT / IS / XX in three lines, with pattern on globe imitating lines of latitude and longitude; three stars above. Mintmark: PLON RIC VII London 237 var (rev break). All 237s are rated R5 Submitted by Bruno Vincent. Note: Although the mintmark is mostly off flan, the design of the globe with its broad line and the design of the helmet's visor on the obverse makes the attribution to London 237 almost certain.
