This software was developed by a coin collector and friend of Wildwinds, and has kindly placed it in our care for our Wildwinds collector friends.
- It can organise and present your own collection, with the capacity to store more background information and other imagery per coin entry than is the case with the usual spreadsheets and in a fashion that is more intuitive in presentation.
- It was compiled based on Filemaker Pro 12 and will work on all Apple platforms but you will need the (expensive) Filemaker Pro software on your Windows PC.
- To operate it on an iPhone, iPad, an Apple computer or an Apple TV, download the free Filemaker Go app from the App Store for either the iPhone or iPad and then download the coin collector software using the link below. Use the FMP Go App to open the file. Note that the screen format will be different according to the device used.
- It is of most use to private collectors, but could also be a handy tool for undergraduates.
- The software format was tailored to IPads, so it may not 'fill the page' as conveniently on iPhones or on an Apple PC.
- The database library isn't an app in and of itself. It 'piggy-backs' on the Filemaker Go software.
- Using the software on a PC or laptop: If you have the Filemaker Pro software (not the free app but the expensive, paid software) installed, it would work perfectly well on a Windows platform too.

When first opening the file, a box will appear requesting that you sign in.
To initially sign in with full access privileges, use:
Account Name: Coin Library (including space)
Pw: Wildwinds
You must then change the password to an original one of your choosing.
