   (10.47g). Obv: Helmeted head of Roma r. Rev: Legend in wreath. SNG
   Cop 1319. Choice VF. Struck during one of Republican Rome’s
   greatest periods of expansion, the Roma obverse on this coin must
   have been offensive to the newly conquered Macedonians. This
   scarce issue soon gave way to more acceptable depictions of Zeus
   and Poseidon. A detailed and expressive portrait. Excellent
   patina.
