Tripolis, Lydia, semi-autonomous. AD 193-268. IERA BOYLH, veiled and draped bust of Boule right. TRIPOLEITWN, Dionysos standing left, naked but for chlamys, holding kantharos and thyrsos. SNG Cop 731; Vienna GR 31060; RPC IX 800 corr. with permission of cngcoins.com, Dec. 2009. Note: RPC IX describes this actual coin with "laureate, veiled and draped bust" for Boule. It is difficult to see whether Boule is laureate on this coin, as it is not as clear as Winterthur 3981. In addition, the laureate and veiled type has a panther at Dionysos' foot - unclear on this CNG coin.
