PTOLEMAIC KINGDOM. Ptolemy I, as satrap. (323–305/4 BC). Silver 
tetradrachm (16.39 gm). Memphis, Ca. 315 BC. Head of deified 
Alexander right with horn of Ammon, wearing elephant headdress and 
aegis / AËEÎANÄ[ÑOÕ], Zeus enthroned left, holding eagle on extended 
right hand and resting left on scepter, thunderbolt in left field, 
HÄI monogram under throne. Svoronos 22. Zervos B-IX. For date, see 
Lorber, NC 2005. Struck in high relief. Slightly granular surfaces. 
Very rare. Very fine.
