Electrum aspron trachy (2.93 gm). Thessalonica, ca. 1234-1235 AD. 

IC-XC to left and right of bust of Christ facing, bearded and 
nimbate, raising right hand in benediction and holding book of 
Gospels in left.
MHP-QV MANVHL.., full-length figure of Manuel standing facing on 
left, holding labarum-headed sceptre and anexekakia, being 
crowned by Mary standing  on right. 
 DO 1. Sear 2174. Toned extremely fine.
