George III halfpennies were first struck from 1770 to 1775, then there was a break in striking until 1799. In 1799, 1806 and 1807 halfpennies were struck in the privately owned Soho Mint owned by Matthew Boulton who struck two types: The first in 1799 and the second in 1806 and 1807.
