      Edward the Elder, 899-924 AD. Two-line type. Central circle, 
      small cross pattee within; + EADVVEARD REX around. Reverse: 
      Inscription in two lines: BVRH+ / ELMMO in upper and lower 
      registers, pellets above and below, with three crosses across 
      center.
