     STUNNING CARIA DRACH nEF GREAT STYLE NO RES SATRAPS OF CARIA,
     MAUSSOLLOS, 377-353 BC, AR DRACHM, (3.47g) A Beautiful, Classical
     style, Head of Apollo facing slightly to the right. Reverse
     depicts Zeus standing right, holding labrys and spear. Good metal
     & nice round flan. SNG Cop.591, S4956. The famous tomb of
     Maussollos, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, was
     completed by his widow Artemisia with payment in coins such as
     this one. A drachm was payment for a day of a skilled craftsman’s
     time. Money Orders are preferred and I ship immediately;
     cashier’s & personal checks take up to 15 days to clear the bank.
