Carthage, gold stater (of 2.5 drachms?), (9.04g) c. 350 BC, Carthage Mint,
Bust of Tanit left, wreathed with corn, wearing triple-drop earring and
necklace of 8 pendants. / Horse standing right, group of three pellets
before. S 6446; Jenkins & Lewis, Group IIIb, 14 (later die state of same
obverse die, perhaps the same reverse die). Near EF, die breaks in obverse
field, reverse double struck.

Jenkins & Lewis note that this coin may have been valued at 25 Attic
drachms of silver, at the reduced gold to silver ratio of 11.25 : 1.
