  Valentinian was born in A.D. 371. He was raised to the rank of Augustus
      in November, A.D. 375, a few days after the death of his father,
                              Valentinian I.

                        Type Coin: AE-4 (about 13mm)
                                 Grade: F++

               Obverse: D N VALENTINIANVS P F AVG, bust right

  Reverse: SALVS REIPVBLICAE, Victory advancing left, carrying trophy and
                              dragging captive
