                                Description

     Allectus 293-296 AD AE quinarius, galley left. Reverse: VIRTVS
     AVG, Roman galley sailing left with oars.

     Listed in Sear Roman Coins and Their Values as S-3590 at 110
     pounds in VF. The obverse of this coin is nicer than the reverse
     although it is easily identifiable as the scarce bronze quinarius
     of Allectus. Decent portrait and inscription on obverse,
     rough/thick patina on the reverse.

     Buyer pays $0.85 postage, 2 week return period, checks (U.S.
     funds) must clear.
