     ROMAN EMPIRE. CARINUS, Emperor, AD 283-285. Silvered bronze
     Antoninianus.

     Obverse) IMP.C.M.AVR.CARINVS AVG, His radiated and draped bust to
     the right. Reverse) SAECVLI FELICITAS, Carinus in military garb
     standing right holding spear and globe. Reference: Sear 3455.
     Scarce Emperor and type. Grade: Extremely Fine. As struck but
     with the silvering partially flaking and showing the copper
     underneath. Very Good portrait. Nice reverse. Strongly struck.
     Well centered. Good eye appeal.
