      Attribution:
      Sear 3371

      Obverse :
      His radiate bust left, wearing imperial mantle and holding an eagle
      tipped sceptre. 'IMP. C.M. AVR. PROBVS P.F. AVG.'

      Reverse :
      Sol in quadriga facing. 'SOLI INVICTO' 'CX in field and 'XXIr' in
      exergue.

      Grade :
      EF/EF

      Notes :
      A truly superb example with tremendous eye appeal. This coin
      features an outstanding portrait of an intense looking Probus. The
      reverse is a wondeful depiction of Sol riding in a quadriga towards
      the viewer. A wonderful coin for any Roman collection.
