PROBUS AD 276-282. Bronze Antoninianus

Obverse: PROBVS PF AVG, radiate bust left wearing imperial mantle and holding eagle-tipped sceptre.
Reverse: SOLI INVICTO, Sol holding whip in quadriga galloping left. R thunderbolt Sigma in exergue.

Reference: Sear 3370 var.
Grade: Extremely Fine.

Choice portrait and reverse. Large planchet.
Agreeable dark chocolate patina.
Scarcer type. Nice eye appeal.
Very light micro porosity on obverse (from cleaning).
