     Tacitus, 275-276 A.D. antoninianus, about Fine.

     Obverse: IMP CM CL TACITVS AVG. Radiate, draped and cuirassed
     bust, right.

     Reverse: FELICITAS (?). Felicity stands left.

     Main devices clear. Decent portrait of a somewhat scarce emperor.
     Nice flan.

     Tacitus was 75-years-old when he got his big break: the Senate
     elected him emperor. He set to work with gusto and beat the
     Goths. Problem was, he was beat. He died shortly thereafter.

     Unlisted in Sear, but similar to Sear 3314

     Buyer pays $1.30 postage, 2 week return period, checks (U.S.
