   Claudius II Gothicus became one of the Empire's leading generals under
   Valerian and Gallienus. He was said to have taken part in the plot to
                             murder Gallienus.

                        Type Coin: AE Antoninianus
                                 Grade: F++

               Obverse: IMP CLAVDIVS AVG, radiate bust right

 Reverse: VIRTVS AVG, Mars standing left, holding branch and spear, shield
                                  at feet
