   Claudius was proclaimed emperor after the death of Gallienus. He won a
       brilliant victory over the Goths in A.D. 269, even though the
                        Roman army was outnumbered.

                         Type Coin: AE Antoninianus
                                Grade: VF/F+

               Obverse: IMP CLAVDIVS AVG, radiate bust right

    Reverse: PROVIDENT AVG, Providence standing left, leaning on column
