     This is a VF example of Septimus Severus (AD 193-211) denarius.
     The obverse has a laureate portrait surrounded by L SEPT SEV PERT
     .... AVG IMP. The reverse featues Hercules leaning on a bow and
     club, with the legend HERCVLI DEFENS. This coin is similar to
     Sear 1654. Winning bidder add $1.25 shipping (please add another
     $1 if you want insurance). Money order and personal check
     accepted, although shipment will be delayed until check clears.
