Faustina Jr. & Twin Sons, AR denarius, (2.68g) FAVSTINA AVGVSTA Diademed
and draped bust right. / SAECVLI FELICIT Twin children of Faustina Junior
and Marcus Aurelius on canopied bed. RSC190; RIC(Marcus) 710. Toned F. The
twins are Annius Verus and Commodus and born in 161 AD. The former died at
the age of four but the latter survived to become emperor. Twins ran in the
imperial family, for her daughter, Lucilla was also a twin.
