             Trajan Arabian Sestertius

             Trajan, AD 98-117. A scarce bronze sestertius attributed as
             RIC 466.

             Obv: Laureate head right with drapery on far shoulder.
             Legend is IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC PM TRP COS V
             PP.

             Rev: Arabia standing, head left, holding branch and bundle
             of sticks(?). A camel at her feet to the left. The legend is
             SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI with ARAB ADQVIS in the exergue.

             A beautiful gF condition coin with a light brown patina.
   [Image]   There is minor field smoothing on the obverse, but the coin
             has tremendous eye appeal.
