                           NERO. AE 23. Roman Antioch.

     An AE 23 of Nero (AD 54-68) in VF condition with green patina and
     slight pitting. BMCGalatia 182.

     Obv. IM. NER. CLAV. CAESAR. Head of young Nero right, laureate,
     lituus in field to right.

     Rev. SC in laurel wreath.

     The letters "SC" indicate that these coins were authorized as Roman
     currency. This one is probably a semis.
