                                From the Kiev hoard. Many of the pieces in the 
                                hoard were extensively clipped, and then 
                                hammered out to bring them up to the proper 
                                diameter. Apparently the aspron trachy could 
                                circulate in Russia as long as it was the proper 
                                size; the weight could vary.
