The attribution to Naples is a conjecture on the part of Hahn. Ricotti-Prina, with equal uncertainty, sees a mint operating in the region of the Pentapolis, a league of five cities, Rimini, Ancona, Fano, Pesaro, and Senigallia, on the Adriatic.
