Roman Republican silver Denarius of
  C. Vibius C.f. Pansa for your consideration. This coin was minted in Rome 90 BC and survives in very
  fine condition and exhibits a beautiful luster. Our photo does not convey the luster which is so
  apparent when viewing this coin in person. It features a portrait of Apollo and a mythological scene
  of Minerva driving a quadriga ( 4-horse chariot ).
         
    Obverse: Laureate head of Apollo facing right... PANSA behind and with control mark
  below his chin.
  Reverse: Minerva, holding a trophy and spear, driving a quadriga to the right... C. VIBIVS C.F. in
  exergue.
