                                Description

     This piece was minted circa 85 BC under the authority of the
     moneyer L.Julius Bursio. The obverse type depicts the bust of
     Genius or Apollo Vejovis right, laureate and winged, trident
     behind. The reverse features Victory in quadriga right, with
     legend L.IVLI.BVRSIO. in exergue. These pieces were probably
     struck at the same time as those of Mn. Fonteius C.f., when they
     were colleauges in the quaestorship. Coin shows original dark
     colour, but otherwise grades F, with clear devices and readable
     reverse legend. A decent and affordable example of the type,
     catalouged as Julia 5. Buyer pays postage/insurance, coin shipped
     on clearance of funds. PA residents please add appropriate sales
