                        ROMAN REPUBLIC. L. Hostilius Saserna. 48 BC. AR denarius 
                        (3.64 gm). Head of captive Gallic warrior right, chain 
                        around neck, oblong shield behind / Naked Gallic 
                        warrior, armed with spear and shield, in biga driven 
                        right by charioteer holding reins and whip, L•HOSTILIVS 
                        above, SASER[N] below. RCV 418. RRC 448/2. Tiny cut on 
                        edge at 10:30 (obverse). Toned. Very fine
