      C*29 REPUBLICAN DENARIUS-CARISIA TRIUMPHS OF JULIUS CAESAR Good
                                   VF!!!

     Condition: Good VF(3.6mg).

     Obverse: Head of Juno Moneta, right, MONETA behind.

     Reverse: T . CARISIVS above coin matrix over anvil between tongs
     and hammer.

     References: BMC 4056 ; Sydenham 982

     Comments: In RSC the image on the reverse is described as
     Vulcan's cap over anvil, while it is most likely the top part of
     a coin matrix over anvil (see images of tools used to struck
     coins in the appropriate literature).
