                                Description

     This piece was minted circa 62 BC, under the authority of the
     moneyers L. Aemilius Lepidus Paullus and L. Scribonius Libo. The
     obverse type depicts the veiled and diademed head of Concord
     facing right, with legends PAVLLVS.LEPIDVS.CONCORDIA around. The
     reverse features a representation of the Scribonian well, with
     tongs on step, and legends PVTEAL.SCRIBON. above, and LIBO below.
     This sacred well-head was erected in the Forum near the arch of
     Fabius. Coin is a little off center and shows a couple of minor
     banker's marks, but otherwise grades a nice AVF, with clear
     devices and legends where struck up. A pleasing example of this
     scarcer type, catalouged as Aemilia 11a. All coins guaranteed
     genuine without limitations. Buyer pays postage/insurance, coin
