                                Description

     This is a choice denarius struck by L. Aemilius Lepidus Paullus
     in 62 B.C. The obverse is the veiled and diademed head of Concord
     right with legends: PAVLLVS LEPIDVS CONCORDIA around. The reverse
     is a trophy betweentogate figure of L. Aemilius Paullus on right,
     and on left King Perseus of Macedon and his sons, TER above
     PAVLLVS below. A wonderful historical reference of this family's
     intrumental role in the defeat of Perseus in 168, and his capture
     and return to Rome as trophy. Beautiful golden and irridescent
     toning. Sear 296. Coin guaranteed genuine, and exactly as seen in
