                        gm).

                        ROMAN EMPIRE: Vespasian (AD 69-79). AE sestertius (26.72 
                        gm), AD 71. Laureate head of Vespasian right / IVDAEA 
                        CAPTA-S C, Jewess seated right in attitude of mourning 
                        beneath palm tree, captive Jew standing right behind, 
                        hands bound behind back, pile of arms around. BMCRE 553, 
                        pl. 20, 4. RIC 424. Hendin 773. Cf. C. 234 (CAESAR on 
                        obverse). Glossy brown patina. Fields smoothed, with a 
                        few light marks in fields, otherwise very fine
