     An AR denarius of Vespasian (69-79 AD) struck in 70-72 AD in VF
     condition. RSC 42; RIC 29; BMCRE 48; Sear 770 var.

     Obv. Laureate head of Vespasian right.

     Rev. AVGVR TRI. POT. Simpulum, sprinkler, jug and lituus.

     This coin advertises Vespasian's role of Augur, and shows the
     priestly implements employed in the sacrificial rituals.
