Valerian, AR medallion, 31mm, 19.92 gr. 257 AD. IMP C P LIC VALERIANVS P F AVG, laureate, cuirassed bust right, draped left shoulder. MONETA AVGG, the three Monetae standing left, holding scales in right hands and cornucopiae in left, at their feet to left, a pile of coins of gold, silver and bronze. RSC 127; Gnecchi 7; RIC 61. These three references do not mention the draped left shoulder but the slightness of the drapery may have been overlooked. Very rare.
