                       VALENTINIAN II: A.D. 375 - 392

     Valentinian II was born in A.D. 371 and was raised to the rank of
   Augustus a few days after the death of his father. He was strangled on
         May 15, 392, probably by order of his general Arbogastes.

                              Type Coin: AE-3
                                Grade: F+++

              Obverse: D N VALENTINIANVS P F AVG, bust right

  Reverse: GLORIA ROMANORVM, Valentinian advancing right, dragging captive
                            and holding labarum
