            Valens. (364-378 AD). Silver light miliarense (4.35 gm). 
            Constantinople, 364-367 AD. D N VALENS - P F AVG, cuirassed bust 
            right, seen from front, wearing pearl diadem / GLORIA ROMANORVM, 
            Valentinian I and Valens, both in military dress, standing 
            respectively left, head right, and right, head left, each holding 
            globe and scepter, under decorated arch supported by two columns 
            with spiral fluting, CONĂ (?) in exergue. Not in the standard 
            catalogues. Cf. RIC Constantinople 9 (Valentinian I, R4) and Cohen 
            Valens 10 (Antioch). Reverse double struck. Good extremely fine.
