            This is one of a series of coins struck at Sepphoris under Trajan, 
            during which time the city apparently had a governing council that 
            was completely Jewish in composition.
            Trajan, 98-117 AD, bronze of 15 mm, 3.00 grams. Struck at the mint 
            of Sepphoris in Galilee.
            Obverse: Laureate bust right.
            Reverse: Two ears of grain.
