   Trajan & Plotina, Æ14, (formerly Claudius & Agrippina Jr.), (2.64g)
   Claudia-Leucas, Syria, LEYKAD[I] WN Radiate male bust right, with
   features of Trajan. / KLAYDIE WN T WN] KAI Female bust right,
   crescent above, with features of Plotina. SGI 508var (legend)
[ ](Claudius & Agrippina, following the mis-attribution of BMC), BMC1   [ ]
   (same), Lindgren 2180, RPC I 4465 (second century, noting resemblence
   to Trajan) F, dark patina.

   As noted by Imhoof-Blumer, and reiterated by RPC, the obverse bust
   has clear Trajanic features. In many prior references, the date had
   been misread as Claudian. It is, in fact, Trajanic. The obverse has
   his features, with a similarity to other coins of Trajan from Leucas.
   The reverse has the facial features and hair of Plotina-the emperor
   and empress as the sun and the moon.
