Description

     This coin was issued in the Syrian city of Laodiceia Ad Mare
     during the reign of the Roman emperor Trajan, AD98-117. The
     obverse shows the head of Trajan right, the reverse displaying a
     handsome bust of the City-goddess. The diameter 27mm, weight of
     8.67 grams and a Sear(Greek Imperial Coins)reference # of 1080.
     Very attractive orange and black patina. Buyer pays postage of
     $2.00 for US mailing, foreign additional.
