Description Barry & Darling Ancient Coins http://www.ancient-times.com [Image] Neat Trajan Arabia Denarius - Eastern Mint Attribution: Similar to Sear 979 Obverse : Laureate head of Trajan right, drapery on far shoulder. Reverse : Arabia standing left, camel behind. Grade : F/aF Notes : This coin (technically a drachm since it comes from an eastern mint) is based on the popular Trajan Arabia type with the same design but Greek inscriptions. It features an interesting portrait of Trajan with over-sized nose and somewhat curlier hair than usual. Overall the coin has good detail, but only partial inscriptions due to an oblong flan. A neat coin for the Trajan collector. GOOD LUCK! Click here to view our other auction listings. We now accept credit card payments through either the X.Com or PayPals payment services.
